Delete your Umma account

You can delete your account and data at any time. You don't need to contact us.

In the app

1. Open Umma and tap your picture at the top right.
2. Go to Settings → Privacy.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

If you only want to remove some data, the same screen lets you delete one feature's data (for example all journeys, or all Excused Days) and keep the rest.

Without the app

Email [email protected] from the address you signed in with and write "Delete my account." We confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted, and when

• Your account, worship logs, check-ins, journeys, Quran progress, circles, posts and settings are removed from our active systems within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days.
• Child profiles under your account are deleted with it. To delete only a child's profile, use the Family screen.
• Giving records are kept for 7 years because tax and anti-fraud rules require it, then deleted. They are not used for anything else.
• Subscriptions are not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel Pro in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first.
